Digital Nomad Tips | PCs

The difference between PC laptops and Macs is often asked and it’s a broad topic. Basically Macbooks are designed with hardware specific to the operating system software, eliminating the incompatibilities that can exist on PCs. (These incompatibilities lead to crashes, slow systems, and a host of other problems. This design lets Apple buy better parts for less giving you a higher quality more reliable system. The drawback is that Macbooks are more expensive than their PC counterparts.

You should consider a PC if you want a laptop that you expect will get knocked around a bit more than average and you intend on replacing every 3 years. The advantages are a lower upfront cost and the potential of finding a real bargain. Macbooks don’t tend to fall in price often and usually only do when Apple names a replacement for a particular model.
